This original linoprint was inspired by the famously fearless Australian masked lapwing (plover). As terrifying as the t-rex was, they were also known for being excellent and protective mothers. Enter the plover, a bird renowned for aggressively defending its nest against anything that wanders too close. Here, the little plover casts a big shadow of what it truly believes itself to be: a mighty t-rex, or rather, a p-rex.
